FAQ
How do I export my Claude chat history?
In Claude, open Settings → Privacy → Export data. You will receive an email with a ZIP download. Drop the ZIP (or the conversations.json inside it) onto this page.
How do I export a Gemini conversation?
Gemini has no per-chat export file. Select the conversation text in Gemini, copy it and paste it here — lines like “You said” / “Gemini said” (or “You:” / “Gemini:”) are detected as speakers. Google Takeout’s Gemini Apps MyActivity.json is also accepted (beta).
Does it work with ChatGPT exports?
Yes. In ChatGPT open Settings → Data controls → Export data, then load the ZIP or conversations.json. The viewer follows the branch you last saw in each conversation.
How do I save a chat as PDF?
Click “PDF” and choose “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print dialog. The print layout hides the site and keeps only the conversation.
Is my chat history uploaded?
No. Files are read with the browser’s File API and parsed in memory. The Word file is assembled locally. Close the tab and the data is gone.
