Manus is a general-purpose agent that runs in the cloud: you describe an outcome, it researches, writes, builds slides or a website and hands back the result. It is metered in credits, and the free plan is generous enough to test it properly.

Chat mode vs Agent mode

Both Free and Pro users get Chat mode for quick questions. Agent mode is where Manus plans and runs a task with tools; Free accounts get it with the Manus 2.0 Lite model, Pro accounts can choose 2.0 Max, 2.0 or 2.0 Lite.

Get started

  1. Create an account at manus.im and check the daily credit balance.
  2. Pick a task whose result you can check quickly — for example a one-page market summary with sources, or a 6-slide deck from notes you paste in.
  3. Run it in Agent mode, watch where the credits go, and compare the result with what you would have done yourself.
  4. If you repeat the task weekly, save it as a scheduled automation (2 on Free, 20 on Pro).

FAQ

What happens to old Basic and Plus plans?

Manus says existing members keep renewing at their old price and that Basic and Plus were renamed Pro.

Is a phone number included?

No. A Cue phone-number subscription is bought separately and its usage counts toward a separate Cue weekly allowance, not Manus credits.
